The Newest Sleep-In

The nature therapy is starting to show its power... The effects of green power exercises are to be seen.

 We have been every now and then in the forest to continue with our forest meadows and enjoyed the first spring days with the sun.

 The huge juniper bonfires has been lit and we have been as smoked as our picnick sausages.

 Now it is time to begin with the potatoes and prepare the soil for the new season of growth. Now fully ecological - organic - we were more than glad to order the seeds and potatoes fully organic.

And the wood, it has been chopped & piled. The children asked if we are going to "sleep in" the newest building as we have done with all the others, but no, not this time. And it is already "full-booked"!

     

A Visit That Made Us Giggle

Humour is best when you find it in your every day and can laugh at yourself. Sometimes at the way we live, think and do things. It shakes up the ordinary and this time it gave us again a good reason to get together an week-day evening around tables with good food and wine & the locals.

It was a young Finnish-Swede commedian Alfred Backa - a man with his guitar and re-texted songs about our lives. I can never again listen to Michael Jackson and Smooth criminal without thinking about a Sundin driving taxi in the Philippines...

Hotel Nestor was crowded!

I hope you had been there, too. This is the way we do it here in the archipelago.

 His book is to honour Finland that is this year celebrating its 100th birthday. The book has a chapter for each year and while visiting the local high schools the pupils could pick a year - of course they chose the year when sexual education started in the Finnish schools!
