Our empirical human testing in the archipelago conditions has come out with the first results... Our test group of nearly ten produces an incredible amount of laundry daily and because I began to realize that my call is something else, everyone got their own laundry basket and a lesson with the machine.
There was a saboteur among us or someone had a bad throwing hand since there were still so much dirty clothes that you couldn't tell the colour of the floor. We tried marking the personal areas with painter's tape and between the stripes was the no-one's-land... After finding the men's underwear every morning from the bathroom floor in front of the shower cabin I took the hammer and banged the underpants on the wall. A scalp! I take no prisoners in this war.
It began to work! Everyone takes care of his own from the machine to the clothes line and to the wardrope. If there is nothing to wear, you have to search from your basket... But there is still some curling parenthood that I need some therapy for.
The test is made more difficult by moving the washing machine over 10 metres from the bed rooms... The laundry-sauna building is step by step closer to be ready.
The view from the dressing room through the hall to the laundry room. I have already started thinking about the colours, curtains and furniture.
And the View!
In the far right corner can you see the washing-machine and a table for my Singer by the window? And our wonderful Wamsler will do the warming of water and rooms. It weights almost 200 kg and was lifted in through the window with a crane.
And a wash-basin for rubber-boots?
Our test-group is now facing a challenge. Does it reveal new cleverness or shall we find drop-outs hanging from the berry-bushes? You never know about ultimate acts - those things flapping at the flag pole are not always pennants...
At the eastern wing we were able to use the original ceiling paneling of the house that stood here before 1870's.
If a conscientious objector and a feminist can achieve a chain of laundry must the military state of mind be a genetic mutation or a character born under extreme pressure.
Is it otherwise normal that a four-year-old can sort whites and colours in the evening?
