We light our old stove every morning until it gets too warm to use it - that is then the end of our toasting season. We have the biggest toaster of the village - we use the metal gadget made to use under kettles as a toaster. It is great! It is fast and you can have as many toasts as you need.

The branches our sheep have eaten during the winter should be gathered for a bonfire for the Easter Saturday and if we are going to welcome the hens this summer the old stable where the sheep and the goat Agnes lives now has to be emptied of the hay and straw of the winter period. A lot to do but with this fabulous sun I could stay outside and sweat all day! Spring...
